The Objectives of Kappa Alpha Psi

The objectives of the Fraternity, enumerated in its governing laws, are:

  • To unite college men of culture, patriotism, and honor in a bond of fraternity;
  • To encourage honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor;
  • To promote the spiritual, social, intellectual, and moral welfare of its members;
  • To assist the aims and purposes of colleges and universities; and
  • To inspire service in the public interest.

The Grand Board of Directors is responsible for developing programs that, when carried out, meet these objectives.  The Grand Board of Directors periodically reviews the programs to make certain they are achieving the desired results, utilizing the skills and talents of the members, and maximizing the resources of the Fraternity.  Some of the more popular programs are:

  • The Membership Reclamation Program;
  • The Life Membership Program;
  • The Guide Right Program;
  • The Social Action Program;
  • The Health Awareness Program;
  • The Achievement Academy
